Forum Title: Voltaren Gel and How To Apply It?
Hey everyone! I've been looking for some advice on how to use Voltaren Gel and how to apply it. I was thinking about going to a dermatology clinic for some skin testing and I'm wondering if I should be applying it to the same areas as Voltaren? I've heard that if you're looking to avoid all NSAIDs, like Diclofenac or Voltaren, you might want to look at Voltaren Gel. Is it safe to do this?
Hello Dr. G,
Absolutely, Voltaren is safe and has been shown to help with pain, inflammation and swelling. If you're looking for a good solution, it's important to know that all topical NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) work in the same way, and they're all used to relieve pain and inflammation.
In addition to your skin, you might also need to know that Voltaren is gluten free. While most are gluten free, some may be, especially when it comes to allergies, it can cause an allergic reaction if it's not used correctly.
On top of that, Voltaren Gel can be used in a lot of different ways, including:
Thanks so much for the advice! My question is about the possibility of side effects from using Voltaren Gel:
I've had a lot of questions about the side effects when I went to see a dermatologist. First of all, I was concerned about the possibility of an allergic reaction to Voltaren (I have a small amount of it on my skin that is not actually there) and it's been a while since I saw a dermatologist. When I saw a dermatologist for a second time, I didn't think much of the possibility of an allergic reaction, and I think it's more likely that the symptoms are related to the use of Voltaren Gel and not the other way around. Also, I wasn't sure whether the side effects could be caused by the other NSAIDs or whether I had some of the side effects of NSAIDs that I've already had with my prescription. So if you're thinking of using a topical gel like Voltaren, that's one of the possible side effects. I can tell you that there's a lot of concern about the possibility of allergic reactions to these other NSAIDs. I was also concerned about the possibility of allergic reactions to the Voltaren Gel, but I'm not sure if it's safe for you to use them. So, I'm wondering whether it's worth it to try out Voltaren Gel. Is there anything I can do?
Thanks so much for all the help!
Dr.
You're welcome, Dr. G. I'll try to make sure that all of my skin testing is done, and let you know if it's safe for you to apply it to the skin. The best thing to do is to go to the dermatology department, and talk to them. There's lots of questions about the safety of using Voltaren Gel and how to apply it to the skin. We can give you a list of all the possible side effects that you might have and make sure that's what's causing the concern.
If you're unsure about all these things, then I would be very interested to know if there are any other ways you could go about applying it to the skin? Or if you can do anything else with it?
Absolutely, thanks so much for all the help! I'll definitely discuss all the possible side effects with my dermatologist. If you feel that there are other ways you can go about applying Voltaren Gel to the skin, I would be very interested to know if there are any other ways you could go about doing anything else with it.

I have to admit I have been on the Voltaren gel since I was a teenager and I use it to get in the way of inflammation in the joint. It seems to have really helped my joints get back to normal size but I have arthritis and I feel a bit better on it and can’t get it back. My knee is still swollen and it doesn’t feel as painy and I don’t want to get on my hands and knees again and feel like I have arthritis again. I would be much better off with it because I would not be able to get it on my knees again so I would not be able to get it on my hands and knees.
My doctor has put me on the lowest dose of Voltaren gel to get it back. It is not that painful to have to put on that much strength of the gel and I have had to use the same strength to use the gel to get the same effect. I have been told that some people have problems with it but I never heard of that and I have not heard of any reports on the safety or efficacy of it.
